10. Great Ocean Road, B100, Victoria, Australia

1 día / 163 millas / 3 horas y 21 minutos

The Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia, was built between 1919 and 1932 by more than 3,000 returned World War I servicemen, using hand tools, explosives, horse-drawn carts, and basic construction equipment. Widely regarded as the world’s largest war memorial, it honors those who served in the war and those who returned home to build it. The most dramatic riding section runs about 45 km between Lorne and Apollo Bay, where the road hugs cliffs and winds around coastal headlands before continuing through the Otways and back to the coast near Princetown, with access to the Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, and the Shipwreck Coast.
